Those of you who know me, know that I am a cookie fanatic! When I was younger my mom and I would throw a mother daughter Christmas Cookie Exchange party. This Year my mom and I thought we would bring back this fun tradition and throw a cookie exchange party for our close family and friends. Here are a few tips and tricks on how to plan an amazing Christmas cookie party of your own!

1. First things First..Send out your invitations! I got mine off of Etsy from Creative Union Design. They have the most lovely designs, and we were super happy with how our invitations turned out! On your invite, be sure to let your guests know to bring 3 dozen cookies and the recipe to share!

2. Include voting ballots & prizes for the winners. We found little Christmas Cookie Exchange voting ballots on amazon. Your guests will have a great time voting for their favorite cookies! Another fun addition is to give away prizes to the winners. We put together christmas mugs and filled with them with treats.

3. Before the guests filled out their voting ballots we cut up 2 of each of the guests cookies and placed them on the cutest little plates for taste testing! We also included name tags with the name of each type of cookie and placed them by each batch so the guests would know which cookies they were tasting.

4. Include appetizers for your guests to munch on before the taste testing begins!

5. We created a recipe board for the guests to hang up their own recipe. We then gave the guests recipe cards to write down and take home their favorites.

6. Each guest brings 3 dozen cookies and takes home 3 dozen cookies. (One kind of each brought to the party.) We used paper gift boxes for the guests to fill and take home their cookies in. You can find these christmas paper gift boxes at your local Home Goods.

Hope these tips help you have the best cookie party ever! & a Merry Christmas!
