This chocolate peppermint bark recipe is a family favorite and a holiday staple in our home. It's perfect to bring to parties, a great addition to a Christmas charcuterie board, and makes a festive Christmas neighbor gift too.

Ingredients:
2 bags andes mint baking chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 pkg nabisco famous chocolate wafers or 40 oreos without cream hand crushed
6 peppermint candy canes hand crushed
heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
melt chocolate over a double broiler medium heat. Slowly adding heavy cream when needed to help melt chocolate. Stir cookie crumbs into melted chocolate spread into large cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes. Put in fridge to get firm. Take out and break up or cut into pieces with a large knife.
